Cookouts and Community

Community. It's really important to us at Missio Dei. It is our hope to provide our body with many opportunities to develop tight-knit communities. Communities where we can find comfort and a sense of belonging. The regional cookouts are a perfect time to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones. These cookouts are taking place on Sunday, August 17th at 1pm in and around Asheville.

So why should you come?

The Food is Free - Everyone loves a freebie...especially when it's grilled! We'll provide the main meal, you bring a side dish or dessert to share!

The Church Gets Smaller - Our desire is for you to experience genuine community at Missio Dei - to be more than just a face in the crowd. Sometimes the Sunday gathering can be a little overwhelming. Regional cookouts make the large crowd smaller and allow you the opportunity to connect with the folks who live closest to you. Spend your time getting to know a few people even better.

Great Missional Opportunity - We're all on mission with Jesus. And we all know people who may not feel comfortable yet coming to church. But they'll probably come to a invite them! It's a great way to introduce your non-Christian friends to other believers. Who knows what the Lord might do through these relationships!
