At Missio Dei Church, we believe it is vital to immerse our children in Christ-centered teaching from an early age.

We have chosen to use The Gospel Project for Kids in each of our classes.  The Gospel Project for Kids follows a chronological timeline of Bible events, presenting the story of redemption through Jesus in an age-appropriate format like kids have never seen it before! Each week, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more. There are also take-home resources including Big Picture Cards and journal pages, giving you the opportunity to take an active role in your children’s spiritual growth at home throughout the week.  Find out more about the Gospel Project here

First Time Visitors

If you’re visiting for the first time, you will need to fill out a registration card to receive a check-in tag and security stickers. The stickers serve two purposes:

  • Parent Paging – If we need you during the gathering, the number on your sticker will be displayed on the screens in the auditorium.

  • Child Pick-up – You must present your portion of the sticker before we release your child.

After families begin attending on a regular basis, we will have you set up an electronic check-in account via our KidCheck system, which makes weekly check in significantly quicker and easier.

Wellness Policy:

We ask that if your children are sick that you not check them into Children’s Ministry. This is for the health and safety of the other children in the ministry and our volunteers. If your child has shown any of the following in the previous 24 hours, please do not check them into Children’s Ministry:

  • A fever over 100 degrees

  • Any signs of chickenpox or other contagious virus/bacteria

  • Diarrhea

  • Vomiting

  • Flu symptoms, including, but not limited to, runny nose, cough, or rash

Additionally, we request that you use discernment when checking in the siblings of a child experiencing the symptoms above, as they may also be contagious as well. If your child appears to be sick at the time of check in, our volunteers will request that you do not check in your child. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our sick policy, please email kids@mdcasheville.org.
